Severe storms flip 18-wheeler, shut down I

SANGER, Texas — Severe storms flipped an 18-wheeler on I-35 Sunday evening, shutting down traffic.

WFAA personnel on the scene confirmed all northbound lanes were shut down as crews worked to get the 18-wheeler upright again. The Denton Police Department confirmed there were no major injuries.

Strong winds, heavy rain and hail came down on parts of North Texas Sunday evening, and Sanger received the brunt of the storm damage. Several warehouses were also damaged.
