DENTON COUNTY, Texas — Severe storms across parts of North Texas have caused severe damage, including a hole close to 50 feet wide in the roof of a Walmart distribution center, officials say.

According to Denton County officials, no injuries were reported at the distribution center, and all employees were sent home.

There was also damage reported to RVs at McClain's Longhorn RV, with one person sent to Denton Presbyterian Hospital with critical injuries.

The storms also caused traffic backups after three 18-wheelers were overturned by the weather on northbound I-35E South, officials say, south of Sanger at Ganza Road. All vehicle traffic was shut down.
