CHICAGO — The Dallas Cowboys suffered a significant blow to their offense Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
During Dallas' second drive, a Bears defender tackled wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Lamb's ankle appeared to have gotten trapped under the defender during the tackle, and the Cowboys' WR1 headed to the medical tent for evaluation.
According to the broadcast, Lamb's return was questionable, and medical staff taped his ankle up. Lamb re-entered the game for one play in the first quarter but appeared hobbled and went back to the sideline again.
Lamb will not return against the Bears, the broadcast confirmed. Dallas has put receiver Jalen Tolbert in as Lamb's replacement.
