EVERGREEN, Colo. — Jeffco Public Schools has shared its plan for students and staff to return to Evergreen High School following the shooting that injured two students on Sept. 10.

Friday afternoon, the district sent 9NEWS a plan that outlines the Evergreen High School community's return to the building. According to that plan, staff are expected to return to the school on Monday, Sept. 22, to prepare for the following weeks. Students and staff are then invited to "two half-days of a customized, thoughtful return to the building" on Thursday, Sept. 25, and Friday, Sept. 26.

Prior to the community's gradual return, the district is inviting parents to information sessions on Monday and Tuesday. These will be led by the National Mass Violence Center and go over information about best practi
