WHEELING — Those in Ohio County who still must register with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to receive relief from the deadly June floods have until the end of Monday to do so.

Applying in person no longer is an option. The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center at the Triadelphia Community Center closed Friday evening.

Yet there are still multiple ways to apply. Those still needing to register can visit DisasterRecovery.gov, download the FEMA app or call the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362.

After the Monday deadline passes, those who have applied are asked to stay in touch with FEMA. Phone calls from FEMA may come from unknown phone numbers.
