MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Traffic on an East Valley highway was temporarily blocked as police responded to an alleged road rage situation on Sunday night.

Mesa Police say the incident started between two vehicles that were exiting the highway near Dobson Road. The caller reportedly told police the other vehicle had pointed a gun at them and then took off.

Officers found the suspect’s car and pulled the driver over. There were four people inside the car, and they were all detained. Police say there was a gun inside the car.

No one was injured. It is not clear if any arrests will be made.

Traffic should go back to normal shortly after the police finish their investigation.
