A former player and captian for Ohio State’s football team was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly dragged a person out of their car at a gas station and repeatedly beat them in the head until they were unconscious, according to police.

Jordan Hall, a 34-year-old who used to be a running back for the Buckeyes, was arrested and charged with felonious assault for allegedly beating a passenger from a separate car until they were knocked out.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police in Ohio responded to reports of an assault at a gas station around 1:20 a.m. Saturday. 3

Police found the victim unconscious with multiple blunt force trauma injuries. They were taken to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in critical condition.
