MURRAY – In a special called meeting Friday, the Murray State University Board of Regents voted to approve a firm to lead the search process for a new provost, as well as the naming of the assisted care rehabilitation classroom that will be located in the forthcoming Jackson Hall.

MSU announced last month that current Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Tim Todd would be stepping down on Nov. 1 and returning to a tenured faculty position in the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business .
