Iman Shumpert spent a decade in the NBA. Looking back, he admitted that, like most players, he carried at least one regret from his career. For him, it was not demanding a trade sooner while he was with the New York Knicks.

Shumpert recently joined in the “All In” podcast, where he touched on his NBA career. The former NBA champion opened up about how much he disliked being limited to a 3-and-D role in both New York and Cleveland.

“How bad I hated that 3 and D roll. I hated it. People don’t understand how bad I hated that 3 and D roll. I hated it. I think now I’m out of the league because I wouldn’t sign up for that,” Shumpert said.
