An arrest warrant for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser in the Judicial Complex attack case by an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Monday.

Judge Tahir Abbas Supra ordered Qaiser’s arrest and production in court after hearing the case against the PTI founder and other senior party figures.

The court accepted exemption applications from PTI leaders Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Asad Umar and Shibli Faraz. A letter sent to the Ministry of Law seeking guidance on the PTI founder has yet to receive a reply.

During the hearing, Advocate Sardar Muhammad Razzaq represented Pervaiz Elahi, while PTI leaders were represented by Sardar Muhammad Masroor Khan, Amna Ali and other counsel.
