Angelo Smith, the younger brother of Ohio State star receiver Jeremiah Smith, will follow in his brother's footsteps and play in Columbus as multiple outlets reported Sunday that the high school junior safety has committed to the Buckeyes.

Angelo Smith, a three-star recruit in many services including 247Sports, is a better defensive player than offensive, and projects to play in the secondary at Ohio State.

Angelo Smith is listed at 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds and attends Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Hollywood, Fla. -- the same school Jeremiah attended.

The older Smith was the No. 1 recruit in the nation coming out of high school.
