WATFORD, Hertfordshire, England — Tom Holland suffered a “mild concussion” while filming a stunt for the latest Spider-Man film, sending him to a hospital and bringing production to a halt.
Deadline reports Holland, 29, who portrays the Marvel Comics superhero, is expected to return to work “in a few days.” He reportedly is taking a break “out of precaution.”
The Sun , a British tabloid, reports Holland fell and hit his head during a stunt.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is scheduled to be released in July 2026. It stars Holland, Zendaya, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Michael Mando as The Scorpion, and Jon Bernthal as The Punisher.
According to the Hollywood Reporter , the previous Spider-Man film, 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” grossed more than $1.91 billion worldwide.
