Yellow Alert issued for Mumbai on Sep 22; heavy rain to lash city later this week

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a partly cloudy sky with moderate rainfall across Mumbai and its suburbs today. Isolated thunderstorms with lightning are also likely. A , Pune, Ratnagiri, Raigad, and Thane. No alerts are in place for the next three days, though intermittent showers are expected this week.

At the city’s observatories, Santacruz recorded a maximum temperature of 30.4°C and a minimum of 24.3°C on Monday, while Colaba reported a high of 28.4°C and a low of 24.2°C.
