Emmerdale star Jonny McPherson opened up on his character Liam Cavanagh's prostate cancer fears as he issued a warning. ‌

The actor appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Monday (September 22), where he spoke to host Lorraine Kelly about Liam's new storyline on the soap. ‌

The GP has been experiencing issues with his bladder in recent scenes. Liam has since confided in his colleague Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) after she found him urinating in the allotment. ‌

"There's really no cause for alarm, I don't want you to worry. I've been having a few minor issues," Liam explained.

"When I need to go [to the toilet], I need to go. And when I do go, I don't empty and I go again and again." Li
