The Yankees head into today’s travel day in just about the best way possible. It was a bit nervy yesterday, New York needing extra innings in Baltimore, but they still won in style, with Ben Rice providing a season highlight with his tenth-inning grand slam. The Yankees still need help to win the division, but if they can keep up this level of play once the competition gets tough come October, they’ll be a threat no matter what their seed in the AL playoffs.
