Monday started off stormy in North Texas, specifically in Denton and Collin counties.

Slow-moving storms with heavy rainfall prompted flash flood warnings in Denton County with reports of some locations picking up 1" of rain in 15 minutes.

The isolated lingering storms will slowly track eastward through midday with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and muggy conditions.
