SANTA CLARA — Mac Jones quickly has won over the 49ers locker room and his statements after San Francisco's 16-15 win over the Arizona Cardinals is a great example why.

After the game, right guard Dominick Puni shared the safety that occurred with just under 3:30 left in regulation was all on his shoulders. Cardinals defensive tackle Calais Campbell used a quick swim move on the second year guard, and immediately got past Puni and into Jones’ face.

Puni was called for holding in the end zone which counts as a safety, giving the Cardinals a two-point 15-13 lead. Jones sees the play differently.
