Coronation Street star Jonathan Howard has said he was delighted to get his co-stars 'to himself' when they were quick to offer support after he was a victim of a robbery.

Last week, it was reported that the actor, who joined the ITV soap earlier this year in the role of Carl Webster, shared a post on social media in which he revealed his car had been broken into.

Jonathan, who is taking time away from his life in Hollywood for the role of Carl, posted a picture to his Instagram Story of his car with the damage and wrote: "Nice little welcome back gift from the Manchester scallies," The Sun reported.
