The Kansas City Chiefs picked up their first win of the season on Sunday night, heading into the Meadowlands to face the New York Giants. It was a bit of a slow game, but Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs used a 13-3 second half to get into the victory column.
Kelce's fiancé, pop star Taylor Swift, seemingly wasn't in attendance on Sunday night, but she was there in spirit.
The Giants had a little innocent fun with the Swifties, introducing the "Taylor Cam." The camera panned the back of a blond head, but as it swung around, it focused in on a completely different Taylor. That would be, of course, Lawrence "L.T." Taylor, the iconic former Giants linebacker.
Taylor played 13 seasons in the NFL, all of which came with New York, and he won the Super Bowl twice, league MVP once (1986), NFL Defensive Player of the Year three times (1981, 1982, 1986) and was a 10-time Pro Bowler.
With her new album -- The Life Of A Showgirl -- releasing on October 3, it's a busy time for both Kelce and Swift. But on Sunday night, this was a fun way to play on Swift and her popularity, so well done to the Giants (and Lawrence Taylor)!
