KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - With Monday marking the first day of fall, Tennessee’s outdoor spaces, like state parks and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, are expected to see an influx of visitors hoping to take a look at fall foliage.
Different parts of Tennessee see peak fall colors at different times. Tennessee’s state parks website has released its yearly outlook, outlining your best shot at seeing peak fall.
When to see peak fall colors in Tennessee
For east Tennessee, the state park website says to get outside from Oct. 14 to Oct. 28. It adds that leaves will peak around Oct. 21.
