Inspectors who visited a Kent care home which had been issued four warnings in February by the Care Quality Commission after breaching regulations, found it had not taken the action it was told to.
As a result, the Care Quality Commission (CQC) is taking regulatory action against Hillbeck Care Home in Bearsted in Maidstone, and it will remain in special measures. The move is to "protect people" at the residential home run by Charing Healthcare Ltd, said the CQC.
The homes was still breaching the Health and Social Care Act regulations. The home, rated "overall inadequate", provides care and support for older people, some of whom may have dementia or physical disabilities.
