MONROE, MI — A crowd gathered at Loranger Square in downtown Monroe to honor the memory of conservative activist and commentator Charlie Kirk Sunday, Sept. 21. Attendees carried American flags, big and small, to show solidarity with a man they believed spoke on behalf of the country.

"His life was chosen by God to be a voice of truth, a prophet to this nation," said Carolyn Abrams, lead pastor of Shur-Fire Ministries International.
