The Bushwick Film Festival is back from Oct. 1–5 for its 18th edition, bringing five days of independent film, culture and community to venues across Brooklyn.

Founded in 2007, the festival showcases 100 films from more than 60 countries and draws thousands of attendees, while also hosting free workshops and public programs.

This year’s theme, Meet Me at the Movies , highlights the power of friendship, connection, and the simple joy of sharing stories.
