LSU football's 3 annual opponents in the SEC's 9-game conference schedule have been set

LSU’s three annual opponents when the SEC goes to nine conference games next season have been decided.

The Tigers will play Ole Miss, Arkansas and Texas A&M, multiple sources confirmed Monday morning with The Advocate. It was first reported by On3 .

Two years ago, it was expected that LSU would play Alabama with one of its three annual opponents in a nine-game schedule. At the time, former Alabama coach Nick Saban objected to the idea that the Crimson Tide should play Tennessee, Auburn and LSU every season.

Alabama is set to play Auburn, Tennessee and Mississippi State as its annual opponents. The campuses of Alabama and Mississippi State are 83 miles apart.
