Agartala, 22 nd September 2025: A young child from Santirbazar has reached out to the media personnel in a desperate attempt to locate his missing mother, who vanished under mysterious circumstances following Biswakarma Puja.

Sources informed that Tuton Majumdar, a resident of Kanchannagar in Santirbazar married Mamata Majumdar from Mahamuni area 14 years back. The couple had a seemingly peaceful and stable family life, blessed with a daughter now aged 12 and a son aged 4. However, the tranquility was shattered when Mamata allegedly became involved in an extramarital affair, unbeknownst to her husband.

On the day after Biswakarma Puja, Mamata left home claiming she was going to see a doctor. She never returned. Tuton filed a missing person report with the Santirbazar
