Agartala, 22 nd September 2025: The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Teliamura in Khowai district Apurba Krishna Chakraborty has issued a set of guidelines for the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations to ensure safety, law and order, and environmental protection. The instructions were shared during a press meeting with representatives from electronic and print media this evening.

As per the directive, the height of idols shall not exceed 20 feet, while pandal superstructures will be restricted to 40 feet. The use of non-biodegradable items has been strictly prohibited.
