Richard Quinn’s collection feels very much like a sequel to February’s, which itself felt like a sequel to the previous one. He’s into these single rosettes, single bows, the occasional flower print, and just generally has been leaning away from his early days of JUST riotous florals and full face coverings. It’s been such a gentle progression that I don’t even think I quite clocked when it happened. There’s some wackiness, of course; no runway show is complete without a few head-scratchers. But I’m dying to know who wears slide 14, and Julia Roberts could lay claim to this first one for her potential awards run.
