FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (WCSC) - A man arrested and facing over a dozen charges in Sunday’s Folly Beach carjacking and chase will remain behind bars, for now.
Justin Wright, 32, of Moncks Corner, is charged with two counts of possessing, selling or disposing of a stolen vehicle valued between $2,000 and $10,000, having a weapon during a violent crime, reckless driving, driving under suspension, pointing and presenting a firearm, attempted murder, carjacking, having a weapon as a felon, hit-and-run with property damage, failure to report striking fixtures on a highway, discharging a firearm, receiving stolen goods and driving a restricted vehicle on the beach, according to jail records.
