More than 3,300 pounds of ready-to-eat meals sold at Costco in 33 states - including Pennsylvania - have been recalled because of potential listeria contamination.
Listeria is an organism that can cause infections and be especially serious for young children, the elderly and others who have a weakened immune system.
The Kirkland Signature brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke meals have a sell-by date of Sept. 22 and a product number of 17193. The green onions in the poke could be contaminated with listeria, according to an announcement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
The recall was issued by Western United Fish Company, doing business as Annasea Foods Groups of Kent, Washington.
