Tom Holland is taking a temporary pause from filming the new Spider-Man movie , "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." The actor suffered a mild concussion and is on break from filming but is expected to return to work after a few days, ABC News has confirmed. Holland is reprising his role as the Marvel superhero in the upcoming fourth installment of the film franchise. The 29-year-old has portrayed Spider-Man/Peter Parker since "Captain America: Civil War" in 2016 and most recently starred as the web-slinger in 2021's "Spider-Man: No Way Home." "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is currently in production. Holland shared a production photo last month, showing himself in the superhero's iconic costume. Sony Pictures also released a behind-the-scenes video in August, following Holland on set. "It's day one.
