LOVELAND — A pastor of a church that is embroiled in a long-running legal dispute with the school on its east Loveland campus has resigned as the result of unspecified, alleged “moral” issues not tied to the litigation.

Members of the board of trustees of Resurrection Fellowship, also known as “Rez Church,” told the congregation during Sunday’s services that they had accepted the immediate resignation of the Rev. Jonathan Wiggins, who had been its lead pastor since 2010.

“Following recent accusations, we, the trustees, have accepted Pastor Jonathan’s resignation effective immediately,” board member Britton Cottrell told the congregation. “We, along with our advisers, first learned of these accusations on Friday.
