Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the revered Mata Tripureswari temple in Udaipur today via air route brought the state capital and adjoining areas to an unusual standstill.

From noon onwards, traffic police and security agencies placed “No Entry” boards on major roads leading from Agartala Airport to Agartala city, Bishalgarh, and Bishramganj, Udaipur preventing not only general commuters but also examinees, school vehicles, and even ambulances carrying patients from moving. This disruption lasted until late afternoon, sparking widespread anger.
