The 10th National Ayurveda Day brought together healthcare officials, students, and community leaders at the Tree House Resort, Tura, on Monday to highlight the growing relevance of Ayurveda in today’s healthcare system.

The programme, organised by the National AYUSH Mission, West Garo Hills.

The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest Subir Marak, MLA of Rangsakona, Guest of Honour Smt. Pearla TD. Sangma, ADC and senior medical officers.

In his address, Marak stressed the significance of Ayurveda as a system rooted in natural remedies and holistic care. He stressed the role of herbal medicine in boosting immunity and delaying the onset of diseases.

The celebration featured cultural performances by AYUSH personnel and a group dance by students of Burny Hill
