Students in the Construction Trades program at St. Clair TEC are gaining access to professional-grade equipment thanks to a donation valued at more than $7,800, according to a community announcement.

The Marshall E. Campbell Company, along with industry partners, donated tools and personal protection equipment to the program.

The donation process began with a visit from a Marshall E. Campbell representative, who toured the program's tool crib with instructor Ken Sygit to assess needs. Based on the visit, the company provided a variety of high-quality tools and equipment.

On Sept. 10, Marshall E. Campbell employees delivered $7,375 worth of tools and PPE to TEC, accompanied by Scott Schillag, industrial account manager for Stanley Black & Decker. Lesley Murphy, C
