Drake Maye being able to rebound from a bad play without getting too rattled is a quality that doesn’t go unnoticed by his coach.
He just wishes it wasn’t something that needs to be tested on a consistent basis.
“Those are good qualities. We just can’t keep testing it over and over and over again,” Mike Vrabel said on WEEI on Monday morning . “But I do appreciate the resiliency of him and this football team and our ability to continue to fight and continue to stay in it and compete. It just has to be cleaner so that we’re not always in that situation.”
Maye’s performance in in the Patriots ’ 21-14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers was a bit of a mixed bag , though Vrabel noted there was still “ a lot of good ” that came of it.
