SEATTLE (KPTV) - Four soldiers who died in a helicopter crash last week have been identified.

The U.S. Army has identified four Army soldiers who died in a helicopter crash last week near Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

The crash happened around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17 in a rural area near Summit Lake.

“It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm the loss of four courageous Night Stalkers from the 4th Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), who tragically lost their lives on Sept. 17th during a training mission.,” said Col.
