Honduran woman gets second chance to defend immigration charges in U.S. court in Syracuse

Doris Aleman-Bonilla’s second immigration trial started today in U.S. District Court in Syracuse.

The federal government will try for a second time to convict Aleman-Bonilla, a woman from Honduras who was charged with an immigration-related felony after she was stopped for speeding in Oswego County.
