TRENTON -- Any early morning drivers that use the Bar Harbor Road in Trenton need to be aware of a travel advisory.

At approximately 5 am tomorrow morning Tuesday there will be a roadside gathering in the area of hunters way to honor the memory of Deputy Luke Gross.

Gross lost his life in the line of duty while responding to crash in 2021.

He was fatally struck by a vehicle while picking up debris from the crash along Route 3 in Trenton.

Two marked police vehicles with blue lights activated will be present to alert drivers during the gathering.

The sheriff’s department says depending on the number of attendees the road may be shut down briefly to ensure safety.
