ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man has been arrested and now faces weapons charges following a Rochester Police Department investigation on Karnes Street on Saturday.

According to police, officers responded to the area around 2 a.m. on September 20, following a ShotSpotter activation. This was reportedly the second time in several hours that the ShotSpotter had been activated on Karnes Street that night.

As officers arrived on scene, they were notified that an unknown man was in the backyard of a home. Upon investigation, officers reportedly saw a man, later identified as 33-year-old Dan Marcucci-Borelli, attempting to hide behind a vehicle and proceeded to command him to come out.
