AN NFL legend is desperate to see Shedeur Sanders escape the Cleveland Browns.

Eric Dickerson, a Hall of Fame running back, is begging the Browns to cut Sanders from the team.

Dickerson shared his true feelings about the Browns, telling TMZ that he thinks Cleveland is "a bad football team."

He also said that he thinks the team has a history of ruining quarterbacks, and the same could happen to Sanders.

"I hate to see him there," Dickerson told TMZ.

"I wish they would have cut him. Let him have an opportunity to go to a better football team."

Dickerson shared that he thinks the Browns never "really wanted him."

He also said that Sanders won't get a "fair shot" with Kevin Stefanski as head coach.

"I don't think the coach wanted him -- they should have fired him too," Dickerson sa
