CiviCO’s 10th annual Colorado Governors Fellowship Program just wrapped up its 2025 cohort in Grand Junction, capping a year of traveling the state and learning about what issues affect different areas.
The fellowship was established in 2015 under then-Gov. John Hickenlooper. It’s supported by current Gov. Jared Polis as well as past governors Bill Owens and Bill Ritter. The goal of the program: to create a more robust pipeline to civic service by bringing different perspectives from the public, private and non-profit sectors to build ideological bridges and find solutions to the state’s problems.
