CLEVELAND — Cleveland police say two women have been charged with making a false report of an abandoned infant in July.

On July 13, the Cleveland Division of Police requested the public's help identifying a 3-month-old infant who was brought into the police station by a "reporting individual" who said the baby was found abandoned in front of a South Collinwood neighborhood home. Police quickly identified the infant and reported they were in good health with no signs of injury or abuse.
