It took 30 minutes to get going, but BYU cruised to a three-touchdown win over East Carolina on Saturday.

And after BYU boarded a plane back to Provo, BYU running backs coach Harvey Unga appeared to take a parting shot at the Pirates.

“Rough when you can’t steal signals huh,” he posted on social media.

BYU last played East Carolina in Provo back in 2022, losing on a walk-off field goal. The Cougars were held to under 400 yards against the Group of Five school and quarterback Jaren Hall was held to 144 passing yards.

Was Unga accusing ECU of stealing signs?

“I don’t know much about Harvey’s thing,” head coach Kalani Sitake said. “But teams can do whatever they want.”
