WEST CARROLL PARISH, La. (KNOE) - The West Carroll Parish Sheriff’s Office announced Brian Freeman, 24, of Oak Grove has been arrested.

According to Louisiana State Police, Freeman is accused of killing Kasi Hayden, 43, of Oak Grove. The murder happened in the 700 block of Macon Front Road on Friday, Sept. 19.

Freeman was arrested on one count of second-degree murder.

LSP is leading the investigation.
