CORINTH, Maine (WABI) - One man is dead, and another is in critical condition after police say they were shot in Corinth early Sunday morning.

Maine State Police say they responded to multiple calls of gunshots around 272 Main Street.

They found one man outside who wounded.

Troopers provided life-saving measures and then he was taken to a local hospital where he’s in critical condition.

They say they found 46-year-old Scott Roberts of Glenburn dead inside an apartment.

The medical examiner determined Roberts died of a gunshot wound and has ruled it a homicide.

They have not made any arrests and believe this is an isolated incident and say there is no risk to the public.
