Carson Wentz made NFL history on Sunday, becoming the first quarterback to start for six different teams in six consecutive seasons. The ex- Eagles QB also played pretty well.
Wentz and Minnesota’s defense led the Vikings to a 48-10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Wentz, starting in place of injured starter J.J. McCarthy, completed 14 of 20 passes for 173 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions.
“There were definitely a lot of emotions I had to channel. It’s been a while since I’ve had the chance to do this,” Wentz told reporters postgame. “It was a ton of fun. ... I had a blast out there.”
