LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A man described as a “habitual offender” faces seven charges stemming from a fatal shooting in Lansing back in July
Montez Hopkins, 30, was charged with homicide and six weapons-related charges. He’s accused of fatally shooting 36-year-old DeAndre Campbell on Wilson Avenue in Lansing.
Hopkins was charged with homicide, carrying a concealed weapon with unlawful intent, carrying a concealed weapon, being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and three counts of felony firearm. He was also charged with being a habitual offender.
