EXCLUSIVE: Sources tell Deadline that the Sony / Marvel Studios’ movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day will pause production for a week after Tom Holland suffered a mild concussion on a London set Friday. They can’t film around him. The actor is recuperating, and filming is set to resume September 29.

I’m told the weeklong pause will not impact the movie’s July 31, 2026 theatrical release date .

Holland was taken to the hospital where he was examined, but not admitted, after suffering the concussion reportedly during a stunt gone wrong, which occurred on the Pinewood Studios set of the film. No other crew members or cast were injured during the stunt.
