AUSTIN, Texas – Thursday marks the deadline for individuals wishing to participate in a class action lawsuit against the sparkling beverage brand Poppy.
The previous owner of the prebiotic drink recently settled a lawsuit alleging it was improperly marketed as “gut healthy.” Court records reveal that company officials did not admit any wrongdoing but have agreed to refund nearly $9 million to customers.
For those involved in the suit without proof of purchase, reimbursements are capped at $16. More information is available at PoppySettlement.com.
