A New York man was sentenced to one year and a day in federal prison Monday for threatening Michigan Attorney General Dan Nessel amid a rise in violent extremism aimed at politicians and public officials.
U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmunds sentenced Kevin Delgado, 40, of Bayside, almost two years after he leveled the threat on X in response to Nessel posting a picture of her and a friend, slain Jewish community leader Samantha Woll .
